Occupational therapy is a form of therapy that addresses the functional needs and goals of children and their families. My role is to help your child develop the essential skills for daily living, independence, and play through customized, play-based, activities that improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, social-emotional regulation, and cognitive functions.
I provide evaluation services and direction treatment/ intervention sessions.
All treatments plans and sessions are specific to your child’s needs. I utilize a family and child centered model of care, which means we will work together to determine your child’s goals and help them generalize the practiced skills. Sessions are either 30, 45, or 60 minutes long based on and are conducted in your home or a nearby community space (i.e. library, playground, etc). The recommended session length is determined after the OT evaluation.
Unfortunately, we do not accept health insurance coverage at this time. I can provide coded invoices for clients to submit directly to insurance companies as out-of-network claims. All clients are responsible for payment at the time of service.
